Becoming parents changed the way we saw the world. Wildfires, extreme weather, and quiet losses in nature started to feel closer than before. It became even more real when we heard that salmon didn’t return to a nearby stream, or when bears wandered into our neighborhoods, or when a lost baby deer appeared by a local trail. Moments like these made us pause and think about the world our children will grow up in.

As our family grew, we also became more thoughtful about the things we bring into our home. We began choosing products that last, taking better care of what we have, and appreciating how much it matters when something can be handed down from family to family.

This is why we only source from Korea, where we trust the safety, craftsmanship, and quality. And while not every material can be purely natural, we choose non-toxic, long-lasting options that feel good for our children and kinder to the planet — choices made with care, not shortcuts.

Our earlier planting work with One Tree Planted and Tree Canada now continues through Veritree, where the process is simple, transparent, and easy to track.
