We have been in direct contact with ALZiP Korea, and the manufacturer confirmed that the issue was limited to specific product SKUs sold in the South Korean domestic market. It does not apply to any Wunderkids playmats sold in Canada or the United States.

Color Folder  The Color Folder is our original playmat, loved by over 10,000 parents. It features vibrant pastel colors, nine layers of recyclable premium inner foams, and FDA-compliant vegan leather that is safe for food contact.

Deluxe Folder  The Deluxe Folder is similar but includes an additional layer of silicone on top of the original Color Folder fabric. This provides a slightly more grippy feel, a premium appearance, and enhanced safety. The Deluxe Folder is available in earthy neutral colors.

Both options are non-toxic, easy to clean, and designed to provide a safe, cushioned play area for your little ones.

The Deluxe Folder fabric is first coated with PU, then finished with a light baby-safe silicone layer rolled on and naturally air dried—no harmful chemicals used. Made in a LOHAS- and ECO-certified facility approved by the Korean Ministry of Environment.

Additionally, all our playmats come pre-steam washed three times to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety for your baby. Once you unbox, the playmat is ready to use—no additional sanitation needed.

The mat is water-resistant but not fully waterproof like vinyl. Please wipe up any spills (pee, poo, milk) quickly and check the bottom regularly. Prolonged moisture can damage the surface and foam, and may lead to mold.

The mat is stain-resistant from most everyday usage. But stains caused by crayon, marker or pen might result in a permanent stain. Also, when the mat comes in direct contact with some colorful objects for prolonged periods, it could cause permanent color transfer.

Yes, the inner foam can bend during storage and shipping. To fix it, gently bend the mat in the opposite direction. This should help it return to its normal shape.
